When we bought the house, we inherited all of the window treatments. From white horizontal blinds to blue fabric vertical blinds. We knew those vertical blinds in the living room had to go, but its a huge picture window with 2 functioning windows and one large window with really weird measurements. We went to a large blind store to look at the bamboo shades and were seriously floored when they told us for 3 windows the price would be a little over $1,000. (!!!) So we went to Home Depot and they actually had our window sizes already pre-packaged. And the price? Not even close to $1,000.
So as soon as we got them home, the husband took down the old blinds and put up the new bamboo shades!!

We still need to put up privacy curtains. I am still debating on whether to do a solid color or a subtle pattern. Decisions, decisions.
